In some of my other blogs, I already wrote about Asian culture, language, customs, and different martial arts. I also mentioned Yoga, Reiki, and more....
A long time ago, I tried out the Chi Gung for the first time in Debrecen, Hungary.
It was next to the army base, and there was a fitness studio, where I first went around 2010.
I was studying Psychology at the University of Debrecen, and during the conference week, there was an interesting topic related to my two main topics.
My two main topics were Criminal Psychology and Sexual Psychology. I was very interested in family tree research and how to solve generation struggles.
So I was invited to an event at this studio, which is called "családállítás" or Hellinger-therapy. It is called in English Family Constellations.
Google AI:
Family Constellations (often referred to as Hellinger therapy) is a therapeutic approach developed by the German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger in the 1990s. It focuses on the idea that many of our personal struggles—such as depression, addiction, or relationship issues—are actually "entanglements" with the traumas or unresolved fates of our ancestors.
Core Philosophy: The "Orders of Love"
Hellinger identified three "natural laws" that he believed must be respected for a family system to function healthily:
Belonging: Every member of a family (including stillborn children, "black sheep," or forgotten ancestors) has an equal right to belong. If someone is excluded, a later member may unconsciously "re-live" their fate.
Order (Hierarchy): Those who come before (parents, grandparents) have a higher rank than those who come after (children). Problems arise when children try to "save" or carry the burdens of their parents.
Balance of Giving and Taking: There must be a fair exchange in relationships, except between parents and children, where parents give and children take.
How a Session Works
The process is unique and often described as "phenomenological" because it relies on immediate observation rather than long discussions:
The Setup: In a group setting, a client chooses "representatives" from the participants to stand in for themselves and their family members.
The Field: Without knowing the family history, the representatives often report feeling physical sensations or emotions (grief, anger, warmth) that mirror the real family dynamics. Hellinger called this the "Knowing Field."
The Resolution: The facilitator moves the representatives into a more harmonious configuration and asks them to speak "healing sentences" (e.g., "I honor your fate," or "I leave the burden with you").
Main Criticisms
Lack of Evidence: It is not a scientifically validated clinical therapy and is often categorized as "alternative" or "spiritual."
Simplification: Critics argue it can oversimplify complex trauma or blame victims by focusing too much on systemic "laws."
Regulation: In many countries, the title of "constellator" is not protected, so the quality of practitioners varies greatly.
-----------
My part was an actor. Why? First of all, I studied before acting.
I had to help a woman who lost her first child during the pregnancy. It was a planned abortion.
And then she had a new family, kids, and more, but the trauma made her sick.
And I was chosen to be part of the solution. I was given the grandfather role in a family where the grandfather had the most amount of power and respect.
Why did I accept this role?
This was the rule: you accept what you get.
Why more?
I already played my great-grandfather as a child, then the most important king in Hungarian history, and more... so I knew how to act as a powerful man with a decision-making role.
The game or acting was nearly 4-5 hours of continuous playing.
So after this event, I got an invitation to the same studio, next to the army base, to study Chi Gung for the first time.
It looked easy and very useful.
Why?
As it was not totally new for me at this point.
Why?
My father already taught it to me partly when I was a child.... he just did not say what we were doing...
---------------
I purchased this course on 16th July 2021.
Several years ago, I passed:
Module 1 - Ancient Healing Beliefs
And I started Module 2 - Meditation and Visualization
In Module 2, one of the most interesting example the montain climbing and visualization.
I remember when I was very young, and I had to go to a new place, the first trip, so walking from A to B was much harder than walking from B back to A
Why? I used visualization on the back way, and it made the trip shorter and faster.
Till from A to B could be very new, a lot to discover, and several times, I was afraid to progress, but I was brave enough to succeed.
So the visualisation helps to overcome your fears and reach a higher capacity.
