Wicked the movie
The actors and actresses are generally well selected. The graphic solutions are also good.
The only problem is the emotional challenges, which are supposed to be a problem.
Why is it so important to change Elphaba? She was ok with her outlook and her solutions in life.
Why show that Glinda would be a better person after she helped Elphaba in a makeover? She is obviously not happy with herself; that is the reason she tries to fix others.
I tried to fix the taste of two people in my life to make them a better version of themselves... only and only bad things came out of it... Those people became some kind of dark emotional version of themselves...
When you let people look better than what they are actually able to create for themselves, you give them a fake power feeling...
They usually become addicted to these sources... and if they do not get more supplies, like beauty products... they act demanding and aggressive...
I think Madam Morrible is also very weak. Why? Just because Elphaba is a natural talent, she should not take Glinda to the private education...
I write this conclusion at 1:56 minutes of the movie, when the movie is 2:33 minutes... so 37 minutes are back with all the extras...
This is not the first movie where they pick up the wrong emotional challenges to tell a story...
