Was Schrettel mountain witch?

In German folklore, there were creatures called Alp or Schrettel /Schrattl that were blamed for several actions:

- troubling humankind

- using supernatural powers to harass

- prey on vulnerable mortals

- sitting on the chest of the sleeper in the night, and creating nightmares, breathing troubles

- spread diseases

- they were dangerous dwarf or a vampiric butterfly, a ghoulish revenant or a shape-shifting sorcerer = witch

-  joyride on the backs of unprotected horses

- They drank milk, blood, and semen

The Alpine bogey, such as Alp, is a subtype of the Schrattl combining the traits of a fairy, a vampire, and a sorcerer = witch

They were metal-working dwarves, inhabitants of the dark places deep within the mountains.

Ok, so are they witches? Fairies? Draws? Vampires? or all in one?
