As I child, I saw it a lot of times, it was obligatory. My grandmother was always reading to us the TV journal, and highlighted what was obligatory to watch.

I was never sure who was supposed to be the negative character...

Especially, if you grow up with sentences like:

Let me eat your heart.

Let me eat your stomach.

Let me eat your kidney...

They are supposed to mean I love you...
