Evil eye, why to use protection?

What if you do not want to say a word, as in the Bible, there is a sentence: Don't speak my mouth, anyway my head would be in pain... or another translation, if my mouth does not speak, my head does not have a headache.

So what if someone watches you? How? Like that? Like how? with a malicious look that can cause harm or misfortune

That is why several cultures developed different symbolic solutions: the evil eye, the hamsa, Mirjam's hand.

Did you know that I bought my first hamsa or Mirjam's hand necklace medal in 2010?  I wore it for years. But there was a point when HR in Poland recommended that it is forbidden to wear anything religious symbol. So I was asked to leave it at home. In the meantime, Poland is a Catholic country, and every second person wears a cross around their neck.
