The four types of vampirism:
- plague: mostly a female being, if it were of the masculine gender, then it was called morous in Czechia, in Poland it was called morus, in German it was called Alp or Schrettel. A plague is a person who leaves his or her body in various forms in order to harm people and animals. It visits its victims mostly at night, then suffocates them on the chest, and then returns to its body.
- werewolf: shape-shifter between human and wolf form or hybrid
- revenant: a spirit that came back from death and hunts humans
